What can I do to help?
That depends on your skills and how much time you are willing to dedicate.
There are many things that are needed and we try to match volunteers according to their skills and areas of interest.
Also are you interested in virtual volunteering or online volunteering?
If you are interested in volunteering, please do the following.
Send us an email telling us whether you want to volunteer online or if you are close enough to volunteer on site and would like that option. Some people even choose both options.
- List your skills, including areas that you many not be highly skilled in but may have and interest in improving your skills.
- Tell us how much time you are willing to dedicate each day, week or month.
- Include you actual experience and your skill levels.
- Write a paragraph on you ideas on how you think you might be able to help make Wolf Gardens Wildlife Center a better facility.
Do wolves howl at the moon?
No, wolves do not howl at the moon. Wolves howl as a means of communication. Howling can be used to locate other pack members or to alert the pack that there is an intruder in pack territory.
